Pudina Rice


Mint leaves( in Hindi pudina) is dark green leaves with pleasant flavour. Mint is grown all over the world. It comes in many varieties such as spearmint, peppermint etc, each with distinct flavour.It has an important place in Indian cuisine. It is used in variety of dishes like fruit salads, vegetable salads, salad dressings, soups, desserts, juices rasam, Sambar, biryanis ,chutneys etc.
when i was working in college i had this friend name sirisha. she is very good cook.She makes excellent rice dishes. She told me this receipe. Hey Thanks sirisha.


Ingredients:

• Cooked Rice 4 cups

• 1 bunch of Pudina leaves

• 4 green chillies (add more/less acc to taste)

• Garam Masala 1spoon

• Ginger garlic paste 1 spoon

• Onions 2 medium or 1 big

• Oil 2 table spoons

Procedure

1. Make a paste of pudina leaves and green chilies and keep it a side.

2. Heat oil in a pan, then add finely chopped onions, fry until golden brown

3. Add ginger garlic paste and then add grinded pudina & chilli paste.

4. Fry the above paste for few minutes and then finally add salt and garam masala.

5. Add the above paste to the cooked rice, mix it well.

6. Serve it with raitha
